TSEVETT Agro Services exhibited its innovative Organic Indigenous Microorganisms (IMO) technology at the National Higher Council of Education exhibition, held at Gulu University's graduation grounds on 26th March 2026.
On 26th March 2026, TSEVETT Agro Services took its work in climate-smart agriculture to the national stage, exhibiting at the National Higher Council of Education exhibition held at Gulu University's graduation grounds. The showcase centered on TSEVETT's innovative approach to developing eco-friendly Organic Indigenous Microorganisms (IMO), a low-cost, locally-sourced alternative to chemical fertilizers that is helping smallholder farmers in Arua and across West Nile build healthier soil naturally. IMO technology works by harvesting beneficial microorganisms already present in the local environment and cultivating them into a concentrated soil input, improving fertility, water retention, and plant resilience without the cost or environmental footprint of synthetic chemicals. It's a technique central to TSEVETT's Sustainable Organic Agriculture training program, which equips farmers and students with hands on skills to apply exactly this kind of innovation on their own land.
Exhibiting alongside other institutions at a national education forum gave TSEVETT a platform to share this innovation with a wider audience of educators, innovators, and policymakers, reinforcing the organization's mission to mobilize youth energy in the fight against climate change. It's the same spirit driving projects like BCGA and programs like YAAP, and a reminder that some of the most effective climate solutions start small, in the soil, in the community, and in the hands of the next generation of farmers.
