Under the Youth AgriSkills Attachment Program (YAAP), trainees at the AgriSkills Attachment Farm in Dwaniro, Kiboga spent the day on silage making for dairy cattle at Muyenge Ruti Farm. Fresh maize was harvested straight from the field and fed through the chopper, turning a full day of fieldwork into feed that will carry the herd through the dry season.
This is the kind of hands-on placement YAAP trainees get: loading, chopping, and packing silage alongside the farm team, learning the full process rather than just watching it.
